You may get a security warning or the file may not automatically download. The file is safe to use. By default a folder will be created on your hard drive entitled "Breaking the Cycle ". If you cannot locate it try using the search function in Windows.

After You have downloaded the software

• For best performance set your screen resolution to 800x600. (Simply right click on the desktop and select "properties" from the menu. Next click on "settings" and change the screen resolution to 800x600.
• Close down any other applications to ensure smooth running.
• Locate the file that you downloaded. Open it and double-click on the file with a large "F" icon entitiled X.

Using the Software

The lesson is a series of slides. Each slide contains animations, or photographs. To move to the next slide click on the star in the left hand corner of the screen. You click either with a mouse or if you have an interactive whiteboard click directly onto the star.

When you have finished the lesson click escape and then close the lesson by clicking on the cross in the top right corner.
